Bat-Wing Cropped Dolman Cardigan Knitting Pattern

A cropped black bat-wing dolman cardigan

We shaped this as a flat T-piece: hem up, then cast on deep sleeve flaps at the underarm so the silhouette reads as bat wings when your arms are out. Rib bands finish the fronts, hem, neck and cuffs. Adult XS–5XL in DK.

Sizes

Adult XS–5XL (to fit bust about 81–157 cm). Finished bust about 89–166 cm with positive ease. Crop length about 40–48 cm. Wingspan about 104–126 cm.

You will need

DK yarn in black or deep charcoal. Amounts per size are in the pattern (from about 640 m to 1050 m). 3.25 mm and 4 mm needles. Optional 5–7 buttons.
